My Thought for the Day…March 19, 2019

“Do not wait; the time will never be ‘just right.’  Start where you stand, and work with whatever tools you may have at your command, and better tools will be found as you go along.”

-George Herbert

I have found personally that it is always better to be doing something than nothing.  When I am doing nothing, that is when the fear and and anxiety creep in.   Doing even one small thing helps to break that mindset, and even better, one small thing usually leads to more small things and before you know it, you are moving again!

Have a great Tuesday!

My Thought for the Day…March 18, 2019

“Great minds discuss ideas;
Average minds discus events;
Small minds discuss people.”
-Eleanor Roosevelt

My Thought for the Day…March 17, 2019

“For every wound, a balm.

For every sorrow, cheer.

For every storm, a calm.

For every thirst, a beer.”

-Unknown Irish Proverb

Happy St. Patrick’s Day!

My Thought for the Day…March 16, 2019

“The question isn’t who is going to let me; it’s who is going to stop me.”

-Ayn Rand

Don’t ask for permission, if necessary, ask for forgiveness later.

Be unstoppable.

My Thought for the Day…March 15, 2019

“Whatever you want in life, other people are going to want it too.  Believe in yourself enough to accept the idea that you have an equal right to it.”

-Diane Sawyer

There is more than enough to go around.  Believing we have equal right to it can be quite difficult for many of us.  Once we can accept we are worthy of what we want, the rest comes easy.  Or so I am told…

Have a great Friday, we made it again!

My Thought for the Day…March 14, 2019

“I have learned over the years that when one’s mind is made up, this diminishes fear; knowing what must be done does away with fear.”

-Rosa Parks

In my life I have found this to be true.  When I don’t really have a plan, that is when the fear and anxiey are at their worst. The simple act of doing something, accomplishishing anything, no matter how small, helps me to break out of being frozen in fear.   Then one small accomplishment spurs me on to more, and usually then it snowballs from there.

I am not a religious person, but I do beleive that ‘God helps those who help themselves.’  I have observed in my life that once I do something and get the ball rolling, it is much easier to keep going, and things just start to fall in place.

Have a great Thursday!

My Thought for the Day…March 13, 2019

“If you follow your heart, if you listen to your gut, and if you extend your hand to help another, not for any agenda, but for the sake of humanity, you are going to find the truth.”

-Erin Brockovich

We’re all born with it.  That inner voice of wisdom, whether we choose to listen to it or not.  Often times we can’t hear it because of all the noise of life and its many distractions, but it’s still there, waiting patiently for us to tune in.

And when we do, in that moment, we might not always like what it has to say.  Because what the human wants in that moment isn’t always what is best, but ultimately the voice is usually right.  In hindsight this becomes apparent.

How many times this has happened for me and I still struggle to trust or have the courage to follow my inner wisdom!

My Thought for the Day…March 12, 2019

“Find out who you are and be that person.  That’s what your soul was put on this earth to be.

Find that truth, live that truth and everything else will come.”

-Ellen DeGeneres

Easier said than done, but something I aspire to everyday!  I do find that I really enjoy creating this inspirational and motivational media.  It satifies me on multiple fronts.

Seeking out the quotes satifies the researcher in me.  Creating the finished piece satifies the artist in me.  And releasing it to the world in hopes that it brightens someone’s day satifies something I cannot quite name.  Maybe it satifies my soul, maybe I am finaly geting a clue to what I am here to do.

Have a great day!

My Thought for the Day…March 11, 2019

“Your time is limited, so don’t waste it living someone else’s life.  Don’t be trapped by dogma – which is living with the results of other people’s thinking.  Don’t let the noise of others’ opinions drown out your own inner voice.  And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition.”
-Steve Jobs

My Thought for the Day…March 9, 2019

“Happiness is when what you think, what you say, and what you do are in harmony.”

-Mahatma Gandhi
